Watercolor: Satisfying the Need for Self-Expression

My vibrant watercolor paintings portray the unique challenge of painting in the "great outdoors." Experiencing the effects of sunlight and shadows, realistic mountain landscapes, seascapes and still-life settings are created using the one stroke and wet on wet blending technique. My artwork has been inspired by the places I have traveled and lived, from the rocky coasts of Maine and Ireland to the canyons of the west and the forest and streams of the south.
